Cancellation Policy

1. Booking Confirmation • All bookings must be made online or through our official contact channels. • A booking is confirmed only after full payment or required deposit is received. • MIT reserves the right to decline any booking at our discretion. 2. Payment & Deposits • Full payment or a security deposit may be required to secure your session. • Deposits are fully refundable after checkout if the room is left clean and undamaged. • Additional charges may apply for overtime, extra guests, or damages. 3. Check-In & Access • MIT venues operate on a self-service / smart-lock system. • Guests will receive an access code prior to arrival. • Please ensure all guests follow the entry instructions and respect neighbouring properties. 4. Guest Responsibility • The person making the booking is responsible for: • All guests’ behaviour • Any damages, cleaning fees, or rule violations • Ensuring the venue is used legally and safely • Strictly no illegal activities, including drugs, violence, or unauthorised gambling. 5. BYO Food & Drinks • MIT allows BYO drinks and food, unless stated otherwise. • Alcohol consumption must comply with local laws and the venue’s licensing rules. 6. Noise & Neighbour Respect • Please keep noise to a reasonable level, especially late at night. • Excessive noise, disturbances, or complaints may result in early termination of the session with no refund. 7. Cleaning & Checkout • Guests must leave the venue in a reasonably clean condition. • Please remove rubbish, wipe spills, and return furniture to its original position. • A cleaning fee may apply for excessive mess. 8. Cancellation & Rescheduling • Cancellations made 48 hours before the booking start time are eligible for a refund (minus fees). • Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. • Rescheduling is subject to availability. 9. Damage & Liability • Guests are liable for: • Damages to equipment, furniture, or property • Loss of items caused by guest negligence • MIT is not responsible for any: • Lost personal belongings • Injuries caused by unsafe behaviour or misuse of equipment 10. Refusal of Service MIT reserves the right to refuse entry or cancel a booking if guests: • Act inappropriately • Break venue rules • Risk the safety of the property or others
